At the public stollen evaluation it's not just professionals who taste the traditional German Christmas bread: the public's opinion is also sought.
The Stollenprüfung der Bäcker-Innung (Stollen Evaluation of the Bakers' Guild) is a highlight for Stollen fans: visitors have the opportunity to taste their way through some of the best stollen in the city and choose the public's favorite together. Meanwhile, trained inspectors evaluate the submitted delicacies according to shape, appearance, surface, crust, smell and taste. The best creations are awarded prizes.
